February 8, 2010 VALENTINE'S DAY MEETING! <3 <3 <3 February 1, 2010 PCE Modern Movie Night Fundraiser! Come hang out and watch a movie with Modern! We'll be showing the movie The Hangover for a simple payment of $2. Modern is trying to raise money for new speakers, t-shirts, etc. so please support them! Feel free to bring friends! January 30, 2010 CULTURE SOCIAL This is a chance for ya'll to get some more schooling on the Filipino heritage! http://www.filipinofoodrecipes.net/ has some good recipes. Dresscode: If you guys own any Filipino-wear (or anything with the flag or etc.), wear it!! For the rest of ya'll, you can wear anything comfortable like jeans and a shirt (no sweat pants/gym clothes). Outreach will also collect donations for Relay for Life. KASAYAHAN CHOIR MODERN No experience necessary for any of the performances group above, so come out, learn something new, and meet new friends!!!! DATE AUCTION Sign up for the DATE AUCTION that Outreach is having! It will take place at the Valentine’s Day General Meeting on February 9th. All proceeds will go towards Relay for Life. Also, Outreach is selling SHELL ROSES from Morro Bay! VALENTINE GRAMS!! SPORTS Co-Rec Soccer on Sunday nights at 9:30pm at Upper Sports Complex. WE NEED MORE GIRLS FOR SOCCER!!!! Girls, come out and play!! No experience necessary. It’s really fun and you can learn how to play from your teammates! (we won last Sunday, but had to forfeit because we didn’t have enough girls playing :[ ) FAMILY FEUD!! Membership fees: $10 for the quarter, $15 for the rest of the year. KP SOCIAL SPORTFEST! Also, let Gerilynn know if you’re interested in playing any sports at SPORTFEST at Cal Poly Pomona! March 19-21 (weekend after finals are over) We all go and play sports against other Filipino clubs! Since we don't have a general meeting this Tuesday, we're turning it into a Movie Night Fundraiser! It'll be fun to hang out with your fellow PCE members AND make a difference while enjoying a movie! Bring your friends! January 15, 2010 Welcome Back BBQ! We hope everyone had a great winter break and we're glad to see you all again. So let's not stop the celebrations!! Come over to Meadow Park on South St. for some good ol' fashioned barbecue!! And if you're ready to huck it, chuck it, FOOTBALL, then bring your cleats and some skills to play in our (newly named) EARL BOWL!!! The Upperclassmen are challenging the Lowerclassmen to a friendly game of some TACKLE football. That's right, no flags, no two-hand touch, TACKLE! so it's time to nut-up or shut-up. We hope you can all come out to enjoy some food, hang out, and have fun. MUST BE A PAID MEMBER (or alumni) TO PLAY IN THE GAME! but you can eat if you aren't a member.
